Epocrates will offer formulary information from the Medicare Part D drug program via its hand-held subscription service.
The new initiative, rolling out in January, will give Epocrates Rx subscribers free access to Medicare Part D formulary information. Epocrates also offers formulary information, including coverage, prior authorization requirements and co-pay levels for more than 130 payer organizations.
This may help make Medicare Part D more manageable, especially for primary care physicians who are likely to face an onslaught of confused seniors after the first of the year.

"I'm not dead yet!"
Sorry for the lengthy absence. Things have been slow in PDA-land and busy In Real Life (IRL). I'll try to do better! :-)
