Unbound Pockets New Reference Apps

Unbound Medicine will offer clinical reference applications from PocketMedicine.com, a Web-based vendor of mobile software. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The reference products will be bundled with Unbound Medicine's new Anesthesia Central product suite. The vendor has licensed PocketMedicine.com's "The Manual of Anesthesia Practice" and "Pocket ICU Management" for its anesthesia software.

Unbound Medicine plans to license other PocketMedicine.com products over the next two years. Its Anesthesia Central product line also includes drug reference and diagnostic test applications. All of the vendor's applications can be used on PDAs, smart phones or BlackBerry wireless devices.
