OBSecure, from OBEverywhere, Inc., is a HIPAA compliant, secure electronic medical information system for obstetrics health care professionals that supports access via the web and/or personal data assistant (PDA) based data.
According to Ed Klimas, President of OBEverywhere, OB Secure is unique in that patient data is stored in an encrypted format on the PDA, and is accessible anytime, anywhere, even when an Internet connection is not available. OBSecure is in use at some of the leading healthcare facilities in the US, including the Cleveland Clinic.
