More than seven million Americans buy or upgrade to new PDAs every year. They tend to just throw the old ones out. Skyscape has created a program with Satellife to help put those old PDAs to good use by putting them in the hands of doctors in Africa. Skyscape will equip these handheld devices with mobile medical references enabling health practitioners in the developing world to access the latest medical information while working in rural areas. This program begins December 1, 2004 (World AIDS Day).
