HealthRamp has signed several contracts for CareGiver, a PDA-based long-term care application. HealthRamp released the CareGiver system in August. The application is designed to enable long-term care nurses to use a PDA to place orders for prescription drugs, treatments, and medical and surgical supplies. It also offers admissions management and the collection of minimum data sets via a PDA running the Palm OS or Windows Mobile operating systems, or a desktop PC's Internet browser.
