"Out, out!! You demons of stupidity!!"

Sorry...I was channeling Saint Dogbert for a second. Must be because HIPAA compliance started this week. Is your office in chaos? Are your patients getting writer's cramp as they sign form after form at every doctor's office, pharmacy, and any other medical establishment they visit? Do you think they feel more protected? Hmm...I didn't think so.

Still, if you're keeping personal health information (needlessly and confusingly abbreviated PHI by the HIPAApotomi) on your PDA, you'd better make sure it's secure. After all, the penalties for violating HIPAA include lifetime imprisonment, dismemberment, and death...or at least you'd think so. Check out PDASecure. You'll be glad you did.
