Lippincott Titles Come to the CogniQ Platform

Unbound Medicine will distribute select Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) titles as new channels on the CogniQ platform for both Palm OS and Pocket PC devices. Via Unbound Medicine's integrated handheld-Web platform, users will not only be able to view and navigate LWW content on the handheld, but also to request more detailed information on any topic. These requests are routed to the user's Web Library on synchronization and generate links to more in-depth information in MEDLINE and other data sources.

The first new title to be released is Griffith's 5-Minute Clinical Consult, 2003, the comprehensive and highly respected clinical resource edited by Mark R. Dambro, MD. This resource covers more than 1,000 medical and surgical conditions and is indexed with more than 7,500 terms and medications to help physicians, nurses, and students locate the desired information quickly.

The bad news? As of this writing, these hefty references won't run from memory cards.
