The Waiting is the Hardest Part

The teasing continues. Originally promised "this Winter", mobilePDR is now supposedly coming "this Spring". I guess that means sometime between now and June 21st (the official first day of summer). Good thing I'm not holding my breath.

Can You Say "Selection Bias?"

Sure you can. Still, the results of a rather unscientific survey of handheld-using physicians conducted by AvantGo seem to indicate that handheld computers have the potential to significantly improve patient care.

Help in Fighting Cost of Drugs: Doctors' Handheld Computers - 'I think physicians are becoming more aware of what drugs cost,' said Dr. Chris Vincent, a faculty member at Swedish Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency. 'But we haven't had a very good way of finding out what a drug will cost a patient until now.' (April 11, 2002)
